Manchester Metropolitan University hosted the 4th iBorderCtrl meeting which was held on Manchester, UK on the 22nd -23rd of October. The project is moving towards the testing and evaluation phases as the pilots at the selected Border Crossing Points in Hungary, Latvia and Greece are about to start! The development of the individual modules and the first version of the integrated iBorderCtrl prototype are complete and ready to be evaluated. During the meeting, the last open actions regarding the equipment deployment were discussed along with a detailed plan on the training of the Border Agents to participate in the pilots. Finally, the methodology for the validation of the iBorderCtrl solution that includes both quantitative and qualitative methods was discussed and finalized.
